Should the runtime also support zlib in addition to zstandard?

Only containing zstandard: 544k (x86_64)

Also containing zlib: 576k (x86_64)

Changes needed to enable zlib:

            "  * zlib, licensed under the terms of\n"
            "    https://zlib.net/zlib_license.html\n"

Why not ZSTD?

Yes, zstd is preferred. The question is whether we should allow another option as well.
