(Performance) Pattern play modes as an FX in the pattern play/record page

Hi, i just discovered in the Performance mode the ability to change the pattern play modes.
“There are 20 unique custom play mode Fx’s available. They’re giving you the option to shuffle your existing patterns. Works based on predefined algorithmic changes to the existing steps (relocation, repeat, rolls).”
It would be so cool if you could use these play modes in the pattern recording mode as an Fx.
That makes it easy to create interesting patterns on the fly in your arrangement.
