Since there's a lot of deal with pedestrian mobility and accessibility, let's add a few details:

  • Type:
    • Marked and no traffic signals: crossing=marked or crossing=uncontrolled;
    • Marked and with traffic signals: crossing=traffic_signals;
    • Unmarked: crossing=unmarked.
  • How is it equipped (only show if explicitly tagged to avoid displaying "none" or "unknown"):
    • Is it button operated: button_operated=yes|no;
    • Has tactile paving: tactile_paving=yes|no;
    • Has a crossing island: crossing:island=yes|no;
    • Kerb... it's seems a bit inconsistent on the wiki.
