An appimage for an N64 emulator #3
Comments
Alright looks like RMG should be easy fix. |
I don't know where is supposed that this appimage should work but currently it silently failed. |
When launched from the terminal? |
Poject64 have a working appimage of i386 architecture here: https://www.appimagehub.com/p/1411238 This is the only one i found. |
mupen64plus-qt has a static 64-bit build and works, but it needs, like the other projects, a working copy of mupen64plus. The problem is that also when the mupen64plus project provides a compiled version, who knows what target it was compiled for, as it does not work on Debian 13. |
Currently there are not a portable emulator that works out the box for N64.
There are some emulator, but they have not regularr generate an appimage, for example:
This another more have not any (and use another project internally that have a not binary ready): dh4/mupen64plus-qt#77
This another more have also not one appimage: simple64/simple64#461
This other project have not any recently one: https://github.com/project64/project64
This another more have also not one: mupen64plus/mupen64plus-ui-python#231
The appimage of this project not works: https://github.com/Rosalie241/RMG.
The idea is provide at less one that works and that for the emulator you considered should be easy to generate, or for the best you estimate should be. Just should be good to have one solution available, i have not preference.
