By default the Up-Arrow Key is bound to nudging the nose of your ship downward. So you want to point the nose downward and at the same time apply thrust? Why does this make sense?
It is correct a button can only be bound to a single action. I can imagine there are games where it might be advantageous to have two actions on the same button, but I believe wipEout is not one of those games.
For example, if you want to have both "thrust" and "up" bind to W. That makes sense to those who played a lot of typical racing games, like NFS.
