from pylatexenc.latex2text import LatexNodes2Text
import pylatexenc

print(pylatexenc.__version__)

string = "\\href{https://a.b/c}{Lorem ipsum}"

LatexNodes2Text().latex_to_text(string)

Actual output:

Error:
