Enabling an specific feature in a dependency

I'm using carton in several projects, and in one of them the cpanfile contains a dependency which has optional features.

Is there some way to tell carton, either through cpanfile or command line, that it has to enable one or more optional features from an specific dependency?

Also, there is no way to tell in cpanfile dependency list that the declared suggested (or recommended) packages of an specific dependency should also be installed
