There could be other periods for different cases. I think commands could be like w 45, b 10, to specify the session type and duration.

The classic pomodoro cycle is 25 minutes, and just stick to it - I set a goal.

  • working time (25 minutes)
  • time for a short or long break (5, 15 or 30 minutes)

Other temporary installations are no longer classic and cannot be called "pomodoro".

But I will think about your proposal. Although I can’t promise anything.
