clang errors on local installation #940

Some suggestions for the Local Development docs...

While installing panda in a virtualenv on my OS X Mavericks machine this morning I repeatedly got this error message:

clang: error: unknown argument: '-mno-fused-madd' [-Wunused-command-line-argument-hard-error-in-future]

clang: note: this will be a hard error (cannot be downgraded to a warning) in the future

error: command 'cc' failed with exit status 1

This stack overflow discussion discusses the source of the conflict (apparently from a recent Xcode update) and how to work around it.
