RebelAllianceMod for the TenTec 506 Rebel.
Thanks for trying out this software for the TenTec 506 Rebel.
This is a highly modified version of the orginal Tentec code for the Rebel.

Features:
Iambic keyer (Courtesy of the OpenQRP project by Steve K1EL)
Keyer speed control (Using the onboard CW speed trim pot)
CW Beacon
Additional Display Support
All of these features can be enabled or disabled by uncommenting or commenting #define statements near the top of the program.
For example, to enable the beacon feature, you would remove the slashes before //#define FEATURE_BEACON, and add slashes before the #define FEATURE_KEYER so they look like this:
//#define FEATURE_KEYER
#define FEATURE_BEACON
To enable a display, uncomment the FEATURE_DISPLAY line and one of the corresponding display types.
Example:
#define FEATURE_DISPLAY
#define FEATURE_LCD_4BIT
(Currently supports 4Bit LCDs, Adafruit I2C SSD1306 based OLEDs, Nokia 5110 Displays, and 1602 diplays with an I2C backpack)
### The Keyer ###
The keyer is set to IAMBIC B by default but can be changed. It will also detect a straight key at startup. So if you want to pound away in a SKCC event, just plug in a straight key before you turn the rig on and the keyer feature will be disabled.
If you want to simulate a straight key with one lever of a paddle, just hold down one of the paddle levers while turning the rig on. After the rig boots you can use the dit lever as if it were a straight key.
###Keying Speed Control###
Enable the analog speed control feature by uncommenting the #define statement. You can use the green trim pot on the board to change teh CW speed.
If you don't care to mess around with this, you can set your CW speed in the code. Find the line under the comment "SET CW SPEED HERE" and set "ManualCWSpeed" to whatever WPM you want. (default is 15)
You can also change the speed by selecting user option #2, (U2) and using the paddle to increase or decrease the keyer speed.
Hit the dit lever to increase speed, and the dah lever to decrease speed. You can also hold the lever down to rapidly increase or decrease. After you get the speed you want, exit user option #2 to go back into TX/RX mode. This is important as the transmitted is disabled whle the rig is in user option #2.
###Beacon###
Set the beacon message in the code at the group of #defines for the beacon feature.. Use all CAPS and only numbers, '.', '/', '.', '?'. You can also change the delay between transmissions.
