task caching

is there any interest in building task caching straight into PNPM to reduce the need for other tools (e.g. Nx and Turbo)

for me it would be valuable even if at first (or long term) it didn't support any sort of CI/remote caching but simply kept track locally which packages haven't changed and don't need to be re-build/linted/tested/etc.
