You can try installing this applet: linuxmint/cinnamon#12562 It may be installed by default (with modifications if necessary) in Cinnamon 6.6. It already works with Cinnamon 6.4. |

When I used to use f.lux in Windows, I frequently used the disable option so that it doesn't hamper my gameplay or video editing. There were two checkboxes:
Disable for an hour (If you guys implement it, can we please change the time from an hour to something else if we want to?),
and disable when full screen.
The thing is, people often want to see the 'real' thing, the real colour-grading when they turn it on to a full screen. However, we can also have the choice to make it an exception for certain apps (for example, I play in Minecraft and osu! and I'd want Minecraft to "disable night light when full screen" while I don't want osu! to do that).
Also, another thing: could you guys please keep the night light feature as an applet in the Panel? It'd be easier to use the Disable feature then.
Another thing (just keeping it for future reference): Could the duration of delay (while turning on/off the setting) be changed by the user? The original duration is most probably 1 - 1.5 seconds. Tried to find it out in files/usr/share/cinnamon/cinnamon-settings/modules/cs_nightlight.py, but didn't find anything regarding the delay.
