oidc-auth stange behavior

I'm implemeting LogTo OIDC provider on my bun app.

.get('/callback', async (c) => {
  processOAuthCallback(c)
})

as per documentation, return a error 500.

Updating the code to

.get('/callback', async (c) => {
  console.log('Callback route', c)
  await processOAuthCallback(c)
  return c.redirect('/')
})

make the code run smmothly. I'm pretty new to hono and didn't figured out what was the root cause of this behaviour.

If anyone have an idea i'm interested :D
