Hono: return a file

I have a "pages" environment

The way my code is built there is a request to /file.wasm that I need to catch and serve from /public/file.wasm I've been playing around wth code like

app.get("/file.wasm", async (ctx: Context) => {
	console.log("wasm", ctx.req.path);
  return await ctx.env.ASSETS.fetch("/public/file.wasm");
});

but that's not working. Any ideas?
