• Modifying autoware.repos file to point to fixed hash
  • We will also add autoware-nightly.repos file which points to the latest branch of fast modifying repositories (like autoware.universe and autoware_launch)
  • feat: introduce autoware-nightly.repos #5440
• proposal to rename v1 tag to bus-odd-demo
  • I would like to release the official v1.0 once Autoware.Core is ready.
  • v1 isn't stable anyways and is confusing (At least it should be the one after removing autoware_auto_msgs)
  • We could remove the tag v1.0 since we already have 2024.02 which should be pretty much identical.
  • CY: What would happen to calendar version release?
    • We will still continue calendar version release until we have the first semantic version release. We could discuss if we want to stop the calendar version release once we have a stable release.

• vivid:
  • Pointcloud concatenator refresh by Vivid: feat(autoware_pointcloud_preprocessor): redesign concatenate and time sync node autoware.universe#8300

  • Does this require users to be aware of time offsets of lidars? -> Yes
    • If so, we should have enough documentation for the users to how they should tune the parameter.
    • Also, the default parameter should be applicable for wide users out of the box.
• Esteve:
  • all the non-rviz plugins packages in common have been renamed to include the autoware (or tier4) prefix, there are still some PRs for review (https://github.com/autowarefoundation/autoware.universe/pulls/esteve)
  • I'm in the process of moving the rviz plugins to another repo, but I'd need clarification about how the Docker images will be created, Fatih and I have have a discussion in Reorganize the autoware.universe/common packages #5077
  • I'm updating any references to the packages in the autoware repository
• Lucas:
  • YOLO v10 license issue. Original code uses AGPL3.0
  • If we rewrite the whole code, it should be okay. However, we might need a better check if we are going to use their trained model.
