Currently this repo has many packages/projects, and there are about 5 commits or more every day. This makes it difficult to follow the changes and make local changes which usually takes more than weeks.
In fact, some changes are only specific to sub packages. If this repo is split into more sub repos, it's easier to follow git commits.
I would say each folders like control, map, planning, sensing, or tools are better to be in separated repos.
