[BUG] Query enhancement sorting with time index pattern does not work as expected. #9131

Describe the bug

  • turn on query enhancement.
  • select an index_pattern or index with timestamp field
  • try unsorting by timestamp and sort by any other field
  • It does not work until you hit reload

Expected behavior
you should not need to reload to see the sort working

OpenSearch Version
2.17.0

Dashboards Version
3.0.0
