Currently, no email reminders are setup by default, suggested timings are:

  • 7 days before a review or revision is due
  • 3 days after a review or revision is due

If invited and not responded, auto remind after 3 days, then 5 days, then bounce back to editor after another 3.

Review reminders 7 days before deadline and 3 days before deadline is good. Also cc editor on this. Warn the editor at the deadline that it has been missed and no further reminders will be sent.
