Issue
Typesetting has been part of main for +/- 4 years. If I am not mistaken, proofing is no longer compatible with the most recent Janeway version and typesetting is required to continue using Janeway. As such, can proofing be formally deprecated?

Reason for creating this issue
It's doing my head in when managing documentation. "Why is this here? What does it do? Don't ask questions."

It will be deprecated as of version 1.8.

@ajrbyers NOICE. Thanks :) I'll make sure it wont be kicking around the docs then / markup where I haven't been sure or where I know I'll need to make changes once 1.8 is alive and kicking.
