Elsevier PDFs are pretty good for embedded metadata... (example below)

Key fields I'd like to see include standard bibliographic data and licensing info:

Authors (Creator)
DOI
ISSN
Journal name
Publisher name
Title of work
Copyright

After discussion this feature should be multi level:

  1. Automatically update all metadata
  2. Ask for consent on each upload
  3. Off
