Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
At the end of the pre-publication checklist, I publish the article and then send the author the notification that it has been published. However, at present the checklist has been set up to notify the author of the planned date and time, but not that the article has actually been published, so it would be good to get an option to select whether you want to a) notify the author of projected publication time (as at present) or b) notify the author of publication (which is what I actually do).
Describe the solution you'd like
If the present pre-publication checklist is maintained, there could be a 'notify author' popup that comes up after you click 'publish this article' with a message of congratulations and the auto-populated link to the article. Alternatively, you could include an option in the final pre-pub notification to select from one of two different notifications from a dropdown - a scheduled publication notification (as at present), or a live publication notification with the link and a customisable message.
At present, I'm publishing the article, then saving this last pre-pub checkpoint to complete after publication, going in and deleting the auto-populated timestamp text and copying and pasting in the final link to the article, so it's a bit of a lengthy workaround. Thanks again for your help!
