Thinking of using gruntJS to build the theme because it's a lot neater that way. Is it possible to work out something to integrate with the asset pipeline?

I think no need to go to the full extent of writing a gem. There's a yeoman generator for ember, though idk if it works well. Probably test it when you're free @jethrokuan?
