Developer Resources for OGC Standards 📚

When: Tuesday 4th October 2022 from 13:00 to 17:30 Singapore Time (SGT)

Where:

The workshop will be hybrid and will take place at the main venue of the member meeting and at GoToMeeting.

The workshop will provide an overview of resources for developers interested in OGC standards and candidate standards. The resources include dedicated websites, e-learning modules and compliance tests.

  • 13:15 - 13:55 New Developer Resources at Ordnance Survey (Michael Gordon)

  • 13:55 - 14:35 Building and Installing TEAM Engine for Testing Compliance to OGC Standards (Gobe Hobona)

  • 14:35 - 15:00 OGC tools to support using standardised data models with OGC-API Features (Rob Atkinson and Alejandro Villar)

  • 15:00 - 15:30 Break

  • 15:30 - 15:45 OGC tools to support for using standardised data models with OGC-API Features (Rob Atkinson and Alejandro Villar)

  • 15:45 - 16:25 Overview of New Developer Resources at OGC (Joana Simoes)

  • 16:25 - 16:45 Discussion and Close (OGC)

Call for Contributions:

We welcome contributions from in-person participants, who developed their own resources for OGC standards and would like to share them with the OGC community. These could include: documentation, Swagger pages, CI integration pipelines for tests, tutorials or anything else you find useful for other developers who want to learn about OGC standards.
