Check the Parameters (Capital_costs, efficiency, mariginal_costs (?), which are used for the abroad Electrolyzers from pypsa_eur.
In case the parameters differ from the ones of the inland electrolyzers, we have to adjust the parameters, that every electrolyzer is optimized under same conditions.

  • Compare parameters in the newest database of inland and abroad electrolyzers
  • if necessary adjust pararmeters of abroad electrolyzers

values out of database with both scenarios 2019 and egon100. So average-value is a mix out of both scnearios. Also not every carrier exist for both scenarios.

Did you also consider the components with carbon capture (e.G. OCGT_CC) when calculating the average values?
Since CC is very expensive, I was wondering if that might influence the comparison.

I just considered links with the carrier 'OCGT' for both inland and foreign components. I can't find anything like OCGT_CC inside of the link-carriers. Also apart from 'OCGT'-links i didn't consider anything with carbon capture cause we don't have any link-carriers with a -CC ending inside of our dataset at all.
