- Review ODL standards implementation for the current status of this project
- Ohio HB3 "The bill requires the Auditor of State, within two years after the bill's effective date, to adopt rules under the Administrative Procedure Act establishing appropriate uniform accounting procedures and charts of accounts 16 that may be used by all public offices." - This standard chart of accounts could be technically implemented as an XBRL taxonomy, so this bill could be conceptually tied into the GREAT Act and the Financial Transparency Act.
- XBRL can be part of legislation standard for DataOhio board standards implementation. It should be neutral to include OKI frictionless financial data package standard. Follow up in the next Open Data Legislation project meeting.

- We have considered alternative formats such as https://frictionlessdata.io/specs/fiscal-data-package/ . This is a draft spec, but supported by OKI and Open Spending. We will be sticking with XBRL for now because (1) it has validation features not available in data packages and (2) I want to stay aligned with the Data Foundation/Coalition which promotes XBRL.
