Describe the bug

This was reported to us from a user via email.

Sending an email to OONI doesn't work when using Proton Mail

To Reproduce

When attempting to send an email to OONI support using Proton Mail, the email address does not display in the mail app. This issue is not present when using Gmail. (Images: 4 and 5)

Expected behavior

You should be able to send the email regardless of email client.

System information (please complete the following information):

  • Device: OnePlus12
  • OS: Android 15
  • OONI Probe version: 4.0.0
