Video stream doesn't use authentication

For the last few days, I've been watching SGDQ in a browser, relying on Shiver solely for notifications. Today, I've been getting my Chrome tabs back into some reasonable amount of sanity, and have been doing my absolute best not to create new ones. So I opened up Shiver and turned turned SGDQ on. The first thing I see is an ad, which is really strange consider I pay for Turbo.

Obviously my subscriptions are present, and the app shows that I am following SGDQ:

But the video stream had an ad, which makes me think that it's being requested anonymously.

Either that, or maybe it's a limitation of Twitch embedding or something like that?
