Renpho ES-CS20M not recognized

I am aware of all the other issues opened on this topic but I have done some digging so I hope it helps finally solve the issue.

Describe the bug
Renpho ES-CS20M does not show up in the app (at all, not even as unsupported device) even though it works as expected with the vendor app. In the vendor it is discovered as "ES-CS20M (V1)".

To Reproduce

1. Go to Settings > Bluetooth > Your Bluetooth Scale
2. Step on the scale to send the BLE advertisement
3. Nothing shows new shows up in the list of detected devices

Reproduced with latest dev version: as of time of writing, yes

Expected behavior
Able to pair and use the scale, as with the vendor app.

Additional context
Using nRF Connect app I did some logging and found the device. Here's the log with the advertisement data:
