Title
Implementation of test-retest reliability estimation in Python
Short description and the goals for the OHBM BrainHack
Accurately estimating reliability is crucial for many fields including neuroimaging and psychometrics. The traditional concept of intraclass correlation is not well-suited for task-related data at the trial level. Thus, a hierarchical modeling approach is desirable to more accurately capture the several levels involved in the data structure. A hierarchical modeling framework has already been implemented into the program TRR using R packages (e.g., brms) in AFNI. It would be a great addition to the neuroimaging and psychometrics communities if the modeling functionality is also implemented using Python.
The project is looking for volunteers who are skilled in Python and familiar with some extent of hierarchical modeling.
