And as it is New Year, I want to take a moment to thank you and wish you the best, builders of the digital age.

To all the coders here — whether you’re writing your first line of code today, or architecting complex systems for global enterprises — you are the backbone of innovation. Your work crosses industries and touches every facet of human life: healthcare, education, entertainment, finance. You’ve proved with the right algorithms, creativity and persistence, there’s no such thing as impossible.

Upon entering this New Year, I salute your tenacity. Coding is a solitary pursuit interrupted by triumph and heartbreak.
