First of all, thank you for this wonderful extension. It's about time we found a solution for slow-loading gifs, the foremost issue of our time. Just as caffeine may have brought us the enlightenment, the light bulb has brought us the industrial revolution, so too has this extension brought about yet another new era of cultural refinement and sophistication in the Information Age. And smoother gifs.
Now, we gotta talk about this loading text. You know what I'm talking about - this whole "Loading yer gifs" thing. It was cute at first - it was like the extension had a bit of an attitude, as though this cantankerous child didn't really feel like loading my gifs, and I was making it.
But this child is growing up now - it's 2 months old already! - and I feel like this impertinent loading text has stopped being a saucy quirk, and has started to become an actual attitude problem. I'm seeing that loading text all over my internets now - and frankly, it's getting a bit old.
I therefore humbly propose that we send this cantankerous child off to obedience school, and introduce an options page that includes a setting to turn off the loading text and just show a spinner.
