I have run the Hurricane Ian case for atm+sch (/work2/noaa/nos-surge/yunfangs/hurricane_ian/ufs_atm2sch_hsofs) and atm+sch+ww3 (/work2/noaa/nos-surge/yunfangs/hurricane_ian/ufs_atm2sch2ww3_hsofs), and for the two cases, the atm and sch configurations are the same (the same param.nml )

And compilation for atm+sch is -DAPP=CSTLS -DUSE_ATMOS=ON -DNO_PARMETIS=OFF -DOLDIO=ON
atm+sch+ww3 is -DAPP=CSTLSW -DUSE_ATMOS=ON -DUSE_WW3=ON -DNO_PARMETIS=OFF -DOLDIO=ON -DPDLIB=ON

However, when I plot the water elevation, it shows as follows:

It shows that the blue lines (atm+sch) are not using the wind forcing, but only the tidal forcing, and the red lines (atm+sch+ww3) are using the wind forcing.

Do you have any suggestions to fix this issue?

@yunfangsun I have no experience with the detail of the model but maybe you could compare the namelist files to see the difference.
