@leoheck Can you test with Numix-Daily PPA (https://launchpad.net/~numix/+archive/ubuntu/numix-daily)? Numix stable ppa also creates a folder "Numix Daily"......Please ignore it for now and remove stable theme completely". Also try with different icon themes. With Numix and Ubuntu-Mono icon theme I couldn't reproduce this with Gtk-3.20 (gtk3 inkscape). However it could be a issue with gtk2 inkscape. |
@khurshid-alam thank you for reopen it. My first post was using Themes with this bug:

Hi, I'm having a similar problem using the Any feedback? Thanks |
Inkscape doesn't use symbolic icons for those menus. So no point putting symbolic icons in icon theme is point less. As fot gtk-theme, only solution is to paint inkscape toolbar light. But inkscape doesn't provide any style classes to change that (it is still gtk2). May be for gtk-3 it is possible. So in other words, it is an inkscape issue. I can't do anything here. |
Hey, @khurshid-alam, Thanks for the informative and quick reply. |
