I have successfully installed HiC-Pro, because when I run HiC-Pro -h, help information will appear. However, when I run "HiC-Pro -c config-hicpro.txt -i rawdata/ -o results", the terminal does not have any prompt, and the operation is completed immediately. Generate the results folder, which contains only the linked rawdata and config-hicpro.txt. I don't know what the problem is. When I gave the incorrect genome.sizes or MboI.bed path, it still reported that the file could not be found.
Sincerely,
Xuan Zhang

I have solved this problem by changing the input file name. I found that when entering a file name called: sample1_R1.fastq.gz, sample1_R2.fastq.gz, it works properly. If the input file names like XXX_1_Sample1.R1.fastq.gz, XXX_1_Sample1.R2.fastq.gz, the software cannot detect the input file.
