Only converting new files

Is there a way to convert only newly added svg files so that we can maintain consistency?

I've made some changes to the converted SVG (now tsx), however I realised that if I were to run svg-to-ts-files again, the changes are overwritten. I'd like to keep using the svg-to-ts as I know more icons may come and go. Is there any solution for this method, or perhaps, a better alternative?
