Some key areas to enable this:

  • System dependencies: defaults for apt-get (Linux) brew (Mac), and npm (Windows) should be sufficient.
  • R packages dependencies
  • Run CMD check
  • Run RUnit tests
  • Run BiocCheck
  • Docker container creation

Consider making this an option programmable by users.
