Data import

For SODA at least 3 files need to be uploaded.

• the data matrix
• the sample meta information
• the feature information

Later the feature (i.e. lipid or protein etc.) information will be extracted from local databases by recognizing the feature id's.

Data matrix

The data matrix will contain only the data with sample id and feature id. This will be a comma/tab separated file. Numerical data is expected. Filtering steps will be added to filter the data on e.g. amount of missing values per sample/feature.

Sample meta information

The sample meta information file contain a column with the sample id's and some extra data information. Everything is read by the app and we will give the user options on which column(s) to import.

Feature meta information

The feature meta information file will contain at least the feature id's and some extra information about the features. The idea for later is have the app recognize the id's and then load the correct data which was collected from other sites and made available locally.
