It would be nice to have a small chat pane to discuss with other peers without cluttering the playing space. What often happens during jams is that you get quite a large amount of text mingled with code and it needs to be periodically cleaned. I suppose that I am not the first one to think about that.

The most problematic question is probably where to put it on the screen. It could be similar to the floating log window and/or showing up on mouse hover somewhere on the screen (à la Strudel).
