Comments
I am also having connection problems after upgrading to 2025.1. I have wireguard set and also tried Auto. Tried to connect several location Germany, Sweden, France, Denmark . I live in Turkey. I am using Linux(Arch). |
Also have the same issue with quantum resistance on Arch. Others seem to have the same issue. Latest version. |
related to #7292 ? |
Possibly? From my recollection that author had said the quantum resistance setting had no effect, though I am not seeing that comment anymore so I may be confusing that with another issue report. |
I am using it on desktop & laptop not on Android. So 7292 is on Android as far I understood I also tried OpenVN and if Quantum is set it does not work. So it seems related to Quantum setting |

The app took about 60 seconds but did connect, I have logs attached generated right after connection in case that would be helpful. Edit: Should mention I turned obfuscation and quantum resistance back on before trying to reconnect post update. |
That's great input, thanks! We did indeed introduce a bug in the 2025.1 release, and we'll look into rolling out a patch release ASAP. We still need to investigate the long connection times, but at least the issue of being stuck in the "connecting" state forever seems to be fixed 😊 |
We just released 2025.2, which includes a fix for this issue! 🚀 It is also available in our deb and rpm repositories. Thanks for everyone who took the time to report this and interact with us 💛 |
