I think this is a bug, I can see the search and other icon in my phone but not on my tab.

Yeah it's a bug, phones use the LobstersPostsScreen composable for their UI while tablets use TabletScreen which is missing a handful of features due to limitations from the underlying Material Adaptive library. I've started work on a new tablet screen from scratch to hopefully fix these problems but since I don't personally own a tablet I've been lacking motivation to continue making progress on it.
