I use GoatCounter for a personal project built via GitHub pages.

There's philosophical reasons to not have analytics, as well as some reasons we ought to.

I think there is not much value in having any analytics. Most post which are happening in https://spidermonkey.dev are most likely forwarded to Hacker News and other websites for comments.

While these websites do not provide analytics, they do give a rough sense of popularity.

These hypotheses are things that could be validated with analytics.

Having said that, I'm not pushing too hard on this.
