Currently failures in calls from the scheme adapter to the switch result in errors being returned to the outbound API caller immediately, thus terminating the transaction. This requires retry logic to be implemented in the DFSP backend system(s). There is a desire to support retries in the SDK to further simplify DFSP backend integration tasks.
