The weird thing is that Rye and uv are both managed by astral.sh, of ruff fame (rye uses uv under the hood), and uv's 0.3.0 release means the whole-project-management features seem to be converging (see this discussion for more). This makes it a bit confusing to determine which path to go down.
Given both packages are currently 0ver, it may be prudent to wait until they're mature enough for a v1.0 release before recommending them for adoption, but it would be worth evaluating nonetheless
