Opusdec convert to wav creates badheaders

I am not sure if its opustools or there is corruption in the models specifically for me the EN download.

Does anyone know if opustools on Ubuntu 20.04 creates random bad headers when converting to 16k 16bit wav?
Its so random I am thinking it might be the original source but ant info will be great.
Tools like sox fail but apps that will cope with bad headers such as audacity will load but not much good for automated scripts.

Any tips as has anyone else used opusdec to create wavs?
