Easy Install Error - ValueError: bad marshal data (unknown type code) #45

Attempting to install with easy-install and get bad marshal data. Installing on non-internet connected system using easy-install on local profile. See attached.

pkg_dir> python setup.py install --user
.....

ValueError: bad marshal data (unknown type code)
