I applied some of the patches in the Mitsuba repository to update version 0.5.0 to build with Visual Studio 2017.

It seems that mtsgui will not be built successfully because some of the files in the dependencies repository for mtsgui is missing.

And here reports the fixes that work on my PC (Windows 10 x64):

  • /bin: It requires lupdate.exe and lrelease.exe from Qt 5.9.1
  • /bin: It requires Qt5Core.dll and Qt5Xml.dll for uic.exe, lupdate.exe, and lrelease.exe to execute. Required for mtsgui to build successfully.
  • Install script: the platforms folder from Qt 5.9.1 seems needed.
