Please confirm these before moving forward

  • I have searched for my issue and not found a work-in-progress/duplicate/resolved issue.
  • I have not been informed if the issue is resolved in a preview version of the winget client.

Installation issue.

Brief description of your issue

Hash does not match as Manifest is set for version 6.8 but the installer url is downloading 7.01.

Can the manifest be updated or a new package created for the current version?

Steps to reproduce

winget install goldwave.goldwave

When downloading the installer from the URL in the package Manifest it downloads a newer version.

Actual behavior

"Hash does not match"

Expected behavior

Goldwave.Goldwave will install as the manifest and hash will match the version downloaded.

Environment

Windows Package Manager v1.9.25200
Copyright (c) Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved.

Windows: Windows.Desktop v10.0.26100.2605
System Architecture: X64
Package: Microsoft.DesktopAppInstaller v1.24.25200.0

Warning

This package uses a vanity URL for downloading installer file. This will cause Error-Hash-Mismatch The InstallerSHA256 Hash specified in the manifest doesn't match with the InstallerURL hash when a new release is published.
