Comments
Same issue here. |
Same issue as well, this time on Mac OS, VS code Version: 1.74.2. |
This has been an issue since 2021 by the look of things. Update please, whether a bugfix or elaborating reasons for this occuring Thanks |
Apologize for the delay in fixing this issue, we are working on it. As a workaround if you open a non-notebook file as a host when your guest joins and then switch to (open) notebook file then you won't hit the issue. |
A fix has been released in latest Live Share version 1.0.5823. Please let us know if you are still facing the issue. |
still happens for me, live share v1.0.5828 |
Can you please provide a scenario when you are seeing this error? |
Version: 1.75.0 live share v1.0.5828 |
Can you verify if the guest's Live Share extension is also updated to the latest version? |
yes |
We are unable to repro this issue and we will reprioritize investigating this issue after receiving more feedback from users. |
I'm also getting this error, I can't share the python interactive window with a participant. |
same here

This problem seems to have returned with an identical error as reported here. I am running VS Code 1.71.0-insider on Windows 10 with Live Share version 1.0.5695.
