MatrixPortal M4: NeoPixel incredibly bright prior to connect #9

After flashing the Uf2, the NeoPixel seems to turn on full brightness. After connecting to the Expressive Pixels application, it seems to turn off.

Could we set the brightness to 127 (approx half of 255, full brightness) instead?
