The listening data from libretube (com.github.libretube) gets transmitted to the servers but i can't disable it from listening apps section in settings

I have the same issue currently.
Libretube listens get sent but I don't want unrelated videos clutter up my listens.

Device: Motorola moto g73
OS: Android 13
Listenbrainz Version: 2.4.2 from IzzyOnDroid Repository

I found a temporary workaround for this.
You can go to the Android Settings and select for which apps the Listenbrainz App can read the notifications and just select the apps that you want it to instead of inside the app itself.

EDIT: After some testing, it seems that this does not work sometimes, but I don't know why.

I have the same issue, but for PanoScrobbler (need both to test the reliability of LB Android). So it is guaranteed to triplicate every listen i make (LB Android submits once when PanoScrobbler starts and once when PanoScrobbler has submitted its listen and puts a check mark in the notification, and PanoScrobbler of course also submits once).

Hello @covertczar As a temporary fix, v2.5.3 has a option called "Enable new players" which means the app would just submit listens of only those apps you have enabled in Listening apps list and none other. This would result in your issue being fixed but enabling libretube will not be supported. We are looking forward to next few releases to fix this case as well.
